I'll start with the cons:1) I really don't like the cover art on these.Joker looks slightly off and a little on the feminine side, like in the first volume, but somehow worse.This is a nit-pic because the art inside of the book is great!It bothers me because these feminine jokers are also on the spine and they don't look as stylish as I feel persona should.I look at the other persona covers from series (not volume) 3 and 4 and i almost want to get the books off the covers whereas for this, im getting for whats inside.2) i have no other complaint, it's just the depiction of the protagonist being drawn not to my preference. Art is subjective and i can't fault the artist for that, especially when the black and white on the inside is rock solid.2.5) style counts a lot for me. I know this isn't a Dr Stone or Hellsing, an original idea with amazing art, but they have a good balance of story, art and humor. This seems more like an "okay" cookie cutter manga, but i have also played the game so there's no mystery. I also can't read a manga if i see the anime first so once again, probably just me.3) actually, now that i think about it, I wish there was more focus on Ann. Ryuji and protag got good page time.Pros: if you're a persona 5 fan, you're going to want it for your collection. It's $10. With a decent job you can buy this with twenty minutes of labor or less. So what are you waiting for? Wake up, get out there, and read!(i know i didnt list any pros, but this didnt invoke any strong feelings but it wasnt bad either: personal rating: 75%)
