Gary's career parallel my 20 year Airforce career. We spent equal time in the F-111 aircraft. I'm siure we passed in the night some where. I started as a recipe mechanic, fuel systems. Mech, RB47's and KC97's, I retrained in nuclear weapons teck started in the Cubin mmissel crises, went on to a combat launch silo missile squadrons in bitburg Germany 1964-67; back to Carswell AFB in nuces on B-52's, then into F-111's.. I spent the next 10 years at Nellis 474th, RAF Upper heyford 4 yrs and finished at Mountain Home AFB march 1978. Igot a job working as an sustaining engineer working for a company that desighned the Aps 109 radar warning system. I worked my way up to Sr.sydstems design engineer on the ALR 62, v3 design engineer on the ALR 62 v4 used on Ravion EF-111! Well I finally hung up my design hat in 2000-21 at Lockheed Martin as a SR. Principal engineer in quail test for advance systems🥰😇
